K2’s Canine Operations Unit specializes in advanced canine and handler training, Department of Defense (DoD) and US government employment, explosives detection, and research and development services. Our continual investment in the infrastructure of our Canine Operations Unit has positioned K2 to continue to expand our canine capabilities to include Multi-Purpose Canines (MPC) and Improvised Explosive Detection Dog (IDD) specializations.

The K2 K9 Training Center is dedicated to supplying Federal Government, Department of Defense, local, county, and state law enforcement agencies with the training and dogs to introduce K9 units to their areas of jurisdiction. This capability is increasingly beneficial and we are pursuing the opportunity with service to our local communities in mind. K2 is expanding this single, dual and multipurpose canine service to private security companies as well. Our success in this area is built on quality canines and quality trainers to supply a superior product. We have the capability to imprint our canines on a wide range of odors depending on the customer’s request, cell phones, computer chips, explosives and narcotics are but a few.
